About the Owner
Tom & Liz Meissner
We are Elizabeth and Thomas Meissner, the local owners and operators of TruBlue Home Service Ally Serving San Diego City North. We opened this business because, as long-time residents of this community, we wanted an opportunity to serve our neighbors – especially seniors – in a new way. Our professional technicians are specialized in handyman repairs, cleaning services, yard work, seasonal services and minor home renovations. We also work with homeowners, realtors and rental property owners who need to get homes move-in ready quickly and keep them maintained as well as business clients. For seniors looking to age in place – and older adults and families who want to keep their homes but skip the maintenance hassles – we have our House Care Plus program. With House Care Plus, you can schedule regular maintenance visits for home maintenance, handyman repairs and other seasonal projects. We are also specially trained and certified to do Home Safety Assessments and make age-friendly renovations. While we serve clients of all kinds, we were drawn to TruBlue because of the services for seniors. We have elderly parents and we understand what it takes to make sure their homes are well maintained and safe. When you work with TruBlue, either through our House Care Plus program or for individual services, you can rest assured that the seniors in your life have a safe, comfortable place to age in place. Our team works in La Jolla, Mira Mesa, University City, Scripps Ranch and the surrounding areas. We look forward to meeting you and helping you love your home! Liz Estline My background includes business ownership, property management, operations management and administration. I’ve lived in University City for more than12 years and have volunteered as the committee chair for the Cub Scouts of University City. My two teenage boys were involved in CubScouts for many years and play basketball in University City. I want our neighbors to know that our employees are background checked, experienced, trained, licensed, bonded and insured. You can rest assured that when you work with TruBlue, you’ll be working with a locally-owned small business you can trust to do high-quality work while respecting your home. Tom Meissner I have worked in Information Technology for over 35 years, mostly in roles in customer relationship management and project management. Until mid-2020, I lived in Scripps Ranch where I served on the Scripps Ranch Civic Association and the Planning Commission. As an active community volunteer, I’m especially excited to serve our community in a new way as the co-owner of TruBlue. This is our opportunity to work with our neighbors, help seniors and bring a higher level of professionalism to the home service industry.
